So she set herself a big challenge: to cycle from London to Paris, in support for children who need it most.
After meeting My Shining Star, this journey became more than a challenge, it became a purpose.

My Shining Star is a small, local charity based in Medway dedicated to supporting children and families facing serious illness, including cancer. They provide practical and emotional help when it’s needed most, from covering everyday essentials like food, travel, and bills, to offering comfort and relief during incredibly difficult times. Their work makes a real, immediate difference, helping families focus on what matters most: being there for their children.
